Level Painting Competition-2016
Sir/Madam,
As part of National Campaign to create awareness among
the School Children on Energy Conservation, Ministry of Power (MOP)/Bureau of
Energy Efficiency (BEE), Government of India has proposed to organize
School/State level Painting Competition for the Students of IVth, Vth and VIth Standards in Category ‘A’ and students of VIIth, VIIIth and IXth
standards in Category ‘B’. The
MOP/BEE has entrusted this task for Kerala and Union Territory of Lakshadweep
to NTPC Ltd., Rajiv Gandhi Combined Cycle Power Project, Kayamkulam and I have
been nominated as the Nodal Officer for co-ordinating/organizing the event.
The Painting Competition at School level to be
conducted on any day and the best two entries are to reach the Nodal Officer latest by 30th September 2016. In this regard, advertisements were released by BEE in the leading
newspapers. Also, the Director of Public
Instruction, Government of Kerala, Trivandrum vide letter No. M4/56643/16/DPI dated 08.08.2016 has advised all
Dy.Directors(Education)/DEOs/AEOs to take up the matter with the concerned
Principals/Headmaster/Headmistress of all schools under their jurisdiction to
conduct the Painting Competition for Category ‘A’ and ‘B’ students(copy
enclosed). I hope, you might have
already received the instruction from the concerned DEO/AEO for conducting the
Painting Competition.
A detailed Scheme for Painting Competition-2016 is
also enclosed at Annexure-I for your
reference please
We, therefore, request you to kindly arrange to
organize the Painting Competition at your School
level for IVth, Vth & VIth Standard
students in Category ‘A’ and VIIth, VIIIth and IXth standard students in
Category ‘B’ . After conducting the
competition, kindly select two best paintings from each category and send them
alongwith names of students participated in the enclosed Performa at
Annexure-II to my address as mentioned in the Annexure-I so as to reach me on
or before 30.09.2016.
Kindly note that the paintings not signed by the
School Principal/Headmaster/Headmistress or sent directly by the student's
parents will not be accepted. All participating
students at school level painting competition will get a bilingual (Hindi &
English) Certificate of Participation signed by School Principal/Headmaster and
Director General, Bureau of Energy Efficiency, Ministry of Power, Government of
India. Besides, name of schools who have
recorded 100% participation in the will be included in the Painting Competition
Booklet prepared by BEE.
I hope that your school will take active role in
creating more awareness on Energy Conservation by participating maximum number
of students in this event.
