വിനോദ യാത്ര ഇന്ന്

പള്ളം ഗവ.യു.പി.സ്കൂളിൽ നിന്നും നീണ്ടകര -കൊല്ലം- തിരുവനന്തപുരം വിനോദ യാത്ര ഇന്ന് 5.30 നു ആരംഭിച്ച് കാഴ്ചകൾ കണ്ട് രാത്രി 11.30 നു തിരികെയെത്തി. സ്കൂളിലെ കുട്ടികളും മുൻ വിദ്യാർത്ഥികളും രക്ഷിതാക്കളും അധ്യാപകരും ഉൾപ്പടെ 54 പേർ അടങ്ങുന്ന സംഘത്തിന്റെ യാത്ര പള്ളം സ്കൂളിനു സമീപമുള്ള അമ്പലമുറ്റത്തുനിന്നും രാവിലെ 6.15 നു ആരംഭിച്ച്  8.30 നു നീണ്ടകരയിൽ എത്തി. പ്രഭാത ഭക്ഷണത്തിനു ശേഷം അവിടുത്തെ കാഴ്ചകൾ കണ്ടു.

തുടർന്ന് തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തേക്ക് യാത്ര തുടർന്നു.

Passage du Gois is a 4km long natural passage nightmare for riders  located in the Atlantic coast of France in the Vendée department. This stretch of  road is flooded twice a day by the high tide. You need to be aware of tide times before driving here or you might disappear beneath the salty brine.

Danger doesn’t end here, after the water washes away the lane it makes it slippery with the seaweed all over it. Located on France’s Atlantic coast, the road floods twice daily with incoming tides and as the tides go out slippery seaweed is left all over it. So you also need to be very conscious while braking!

 ലോക തണ്ണീർത്തട ദിനം 
എല്ലാ വർഷവും ഫെബ്രുവരി 2 ലോക തണ്ണീർത്തട ദിനമായി ആചരിക്കുന്നു^[1]. 1971 ഫെബ്രുവരി 2 ന് ഇറാനിലെ കാസ്പിയൻ കടൽത്തീരത്തിലെ റാംസർ നഗരത്തിൽ വച്ച് ലോക തണ്ണീർത്തട ഉടമ്പടി ഒപ്പു വെക്കുകയുണ്ടായി. ഈ ദിവസത്തിന്റെ ഓർമ്മ നിലനിർത്താനും തണ്ണീർത്തടങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതയെക്കുറിച്ച് ജനങ്ങളിൽ അവബോധം സൃഷ്ടിക്കാനും 1997 ഫെബ്രുവരി 2 മുതലാണ് ആഗോളതലത്തിൽ തണ്ണീർത്തടദിനമായി ആചരിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഈ ദിവസം നടക്കുന്ന വിവിധ പരിപാടികളിലൂടെ സാധാരണ ജനങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ തണ്ണീർത്തടങ്ങളുടെ പ്രത്യേകതകളും പ്രാധാന്യവും ഓർമ്മപ്പെടുത്തുക കൂടിയാണ് ഈ ദിനാചരണത്തിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം.
